Wolf Elec, headed by Eric Camp and Bob Blyth since 1980, develops
and manufactures aftermarket electronic auto accessories for
many vehicles, including the Volkswagen Beetle (VW Bug).
Wolf was the first European company
to offer custom-fitted Power Door Locking and Power Window kits for
Volkswagen Beetles and most other
autos. By 1987 the company sold the kits around the
world, and was the market leader in a highly competitive
industry. The product range soon expanded to Power Window
kits and Remote Control Security products.
Wolf specializes in custom products to fit the
smallest van to the largest 24-volt truck. This distinctive
product line includes Remote Control Alarms with
Anti-Hijack, Central Locking, Deadbolts,
Hands-Free Intercom
Systems and Power Windows. Wolfelec also designs
custom
electronic systems for vehicle manufacturers and for
aftermarket retro fitting.
One of Wolfelec's most popular products is the
automatic, hands-free intercom used in nearly 4,000
London taxis. Vehicles such as buses, ambulances and
delivery vans also employ the Wolf Intercom.
The Wolf Van Security division provides Van
security products, as well as remote controls, alarms and
high-guard Slam-Locks and Wolf-Bolts for commercial vehicle
fleet use. All work with iButton keys for
comprehensive anti-theft and security control.
Wolf holds an ISO 9000-series approval, the worldwide
standard of quality assurance. The company works only with

Switzerland.
